With great honor we present to you the 2019 Park Ranger of the Year, Ranger Jane Switzer of Warriors Path State Park.

Jane has worked tirelessly throughout her entire 11(+) year career, but went above and beyond the call of duty in 2019. She represented the TPRA as our leader during the successful events which lead to a 25% pay increase for all State Park Rangers in TN. Additionally, hers and our efforts lead to a unanimous decision in state legislation for a significant increase of line-of-duty death benefits that will be provided to our family members should such sacrifice ever occur. And lastly her efforts not only to her Park, community and loved ones are setting a new standard for excellence within our ranks. She leaves the TPRA in good hands after two years as our Committee Chair. Thank you Jane for your commitment!
